Our Mission:
Our business purpose is to continue to develop a profitable, professional, one-stop transportation services marketing company by providing commercial truck users in San Diego County a superior network of service facilities providing consistent transportation services and products of the highest quality and obvious value when compared to our major competitors. In order to complete this mission, all Dion International personnel must become proficient at providing our customers new or expanded transportation services such as Full-Maintenance Leasing, Truck Rental, Contract Maintenance, Fleet Management, Class 3, 4 import trucks, on-off highway trailers, yard tractors, wrecker and other specialized bodies, Transportation Consulting and Finance and Insurance Sales while continuing to discover new ways to increase sales and profitability by adding meaningful customer value to our traditional, increasingly competitive New and Used truck, parts and maintenance sales activities. It is recognized that only by achieving significantly superior profitability in all 15 segments of our business, do we guarantee corporate survival, cash flow and equity appreciation adequate to capitalize future growth, provide a financial return to investors and assure the long term financial viability of the Company in the preeminent interest of its stockholders, customers and employees.

Dealership Background:
Dion International Trucks, Inc. was incorporated by G.H. Dion early in calendar year 1982 following Mr. Dion's retirement from International Harvester Company where he served in a variety of succeeding more responsible sales, marketing and executive positions over a 25 year period. Mr. Dion purchased the factory branch operation effective March 1, 1982. The business had been in continuous operation in San Diego since 1942. Dion International was a charter member of the Idealease organization entering the leasing and rental business in the fall of 1982. In 1985 Dion purchased the only other International truck dealer in the country, BBS Truck & Equipment Co., Escondido, Ca. In 1987 Dion expanded to three locations by purchasing the assets of Oceanside Truck Center, Oceanside, CA. In 1993 the Oceanside satellite dealership was closed and merged with the Escondido operation. In 1995 Dion moved from Escondido to nearby San Marcos in favor of a newer, larger, better located facility. Dion International's primary area of responsibility is San Diego, El Centro, Mira Mar road, and Imperial counties, California.
